Google may skip Soli Radar chip for pixel 5

Google bought Soli Radar chip last year in its device Google pixel 4. This Soli radar chip works on frequency that’s why Google Pixel 4 was not launched in India.

This time Google has confirmed in its latest report on 9to5Google that they will not use this Soli Radar chipset in their Google pixel 5 device.

Soli Radar chip makes device run flawlessly and hands free. Google pixel 4 had many complaints from it’s users that device is becoming hard for them to use and many other reported for battery related issues. Google pixel 4 and Google pixel 4 XL both had Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset with them.

Yet Google pixel 4 had 5.7 inch FHD+ OLED display and 90 Hz fast screen refresh rate and had a bit small battery of 2800 mAh. On the other hand Google pixel 4 XL had 6.3 quad HD+ display with 90 Hz fast screen refresh rate and have a battery size of 3600 mAh packed with it.

This time we can see Google devices in India as they will not have Soli Radar chipset and from some reports their can be a device named Google pixel 4a which will be launched to compete with apple iPhone SE.
